About Jim

My parents raised me to love my faith, my family, and my community, and for my parents that meant taking the five of us to church on Sunday, to serve at soup kitchens, and to bring toys and clothes to the OLV orphanage. We were taught to work hard and to be good neighbors. We were also taught that if you believed in something, you’d better get out and do something about it.

I am an attorney with over 25 years experience, starting out as an Assistant District Attorney, working at a private law firm and then as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company. Wanting to spend more time with my growing family, for the last 15 years I established a law practice with offices in Buffalo, Clarence and Cheektowaga.

I am also actively involved in my community. For several years the Village of East Aurora has appointed me to their Board of Ethics. I am a founding member and current Board Chair of the West Falls Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. In that capacity I have, with many others, helped create a unique space to promote the arts. We provide visual, performing, musical and culinary arts programming to veterans, disabled individuals and many others in a rural community. I am an also an usher at Immaculate Conception Church, Deputy Chair of the Aurora Democratic Committee and have spent many years coaching youth soccer, basketball and football. I truly believe in our community.
